Dear Commissioner,
I was very disturbed to learn that the above inmate and close friend
of mine incarcerated at the Donaldson Correctional Facility, Alabama.
Is in need of, and not receiving, the necessary medical attention according
to his serious health condition. An appointment with the required
specialist I'm sure, would not appropriate such a strain on the PHS resources
as to mitigate its postponement.
My experience of such matters here in the UK require an inmates medical
condition to receive the appropriate attention according to its 'need'.
And is delivered as such prior to any Status, Rule or Regulation associated
with Facility or Inmate.
I therefore appeal to you sir, not just to your senior position of
authority but also to your humanitarian nature to give this serious matter
your immediate attention and consideration.
