Dear Governor Riley;
I would like to call your attention to a very important medical
situation that is transpiring at this moment and requires immediate intervention.
Patrick Swiney is currently incarcerated at Donaldson Correctional Facility
in Bessemer, AL. In April he was told that he must be seen by a cardiovascular
surgeon. As of todays date, PHS -Prison Health Services has yet to make
this appointment. This mans life is dependant on being seen ASAP. There
is sufficient medical documentattion to support this. One only has to read
Mr. Swineys medical file to validate this. I am urging that you please
intervene and make certainthat Mr. Swiney is indeed seen by a cardiovascular
